Jack Tuttle's Bluegrass Banjo Collection, Vol. 2

To order by mail

For orders outside the US, you must order from here.

This 100 page spiral-bound book is a collection of material that I have developed over my thirty years of teaching bluegrass banjo. Many of the breaks are my own arrangements and many are my transcriptions of banjo greats. Unlike my first banjo volume, which was put together as a graduated lesson plan, these pieces appear in alphabetical order and range from intermediate to advanced. Though much of the book covers classic leads, there are also numerous backup examples, including most of the classic Scruggs up-the-neck licks.

For an idea of the quality of the transcriptions, check out these PDFs samples from the book: Wheel Hoss, Rain and Snow
