The Winter Quarter of lessons will start January 7th and 8th. I'll be once again offerring four Bluegrass Jam Classes. Details here. If you're not already in my Jam Class and are interested, please email me about it.

I'll be teaching a three day Bluegrass Band Camp with Bill Evans, Kathy Kallick, Avram Siegel and Brian Walker and the Freight & Salvage in Berkeley. It starts at 10:00am Saturday, Jan 18th and runs through Monday (President's Weekend). This could be a really fun and instructive time if you like to jam! Details here.

  • About Lessons has all the basic information about taking lessons from me including when, where, how much and how to schedule a lesson.
  • Helpful Tips is an entry point for all help for each instrument and a link to the top ten things that you can do to improve your playing. The top ten includes tips for more effective practice.
  • Explore some of the links down the left side to learn more about bluegrass .
